All of you reading this are LEADERS in life!!! Some of you are moms and dads leading families, some of you lead a team in your jobs, some of you are leaders of a business, some of you are leaders in the community, and some all of the above. We are all leaders of ourselves in our own lives! There is no doubt that it is hard to be a leader and there are often times when we feel like quitting and giving up seems like the most convenient option. If any of you followed the TV series STRONG, you saw that Todd Durkin was eliminated the second week and then got back in the game and made it all the way to the end. He shared the self doubts that he had going through the process. He shared that he had to dig deep and dive into his purpose to find the strength that he needed to truly be STRONG and stay in the game. He also shared a specific moment where he was doubting himself and didn’t think that he was capable of the challenge before him. Apparently it read all over his face. Someone behind him shouted “Don’t forget who you are! You are freaking Todd Durkin,” That one phrase was enough to snap him out of fear mode and back into fight mode.
No matter how strong we are, we ALL feel like quitting at times. The more we resist the urge to throw in the towel, the more likely we are to stay in the game even when the going gets tough!! We are all stronger than we sometimes think. What if we had someone beside us telling us not to quit..reminding us that we’ve got a little bit more and to keep moving forward, reminding us who we are! Some of you may have someone beside you to remind you and some of you may not, and you need to find that own voice in your head at times to remind you not to quit. Whichever it is I am sharing this video, DO NOT QUIT, today to remind you that wherever you are at a high, at a low or somewhere in the middle…DO NOT QUIT! I am here to remind you whether you need to be reminded today or someday in the future, never forget all that you have inside and how strong you truly are…NEVER GIVE UP!!!
It was really wonderful to see so many FitHouse members at the Melanoma 5K this weekend supporting Casey and joining in Casey’s Crew!
It was even more wonderful to see Casey there with her family and an entire community behind her. Casey, there is nothing that represents STRONG and beautiful more than YOU!!!

FitHouse Takes Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis
Join us for a special workout and fundraiser dedicated to two of our own FitHouse members, the Belfiore’s, in hopes to raise awareness and support for Joe and Owen and the entire community. Click the picture and link above for more information on how Joe and Owen are taking steps with Pittsburgh to raise awareness. Any type of donation is appreciated.
DATE TBA
As most of you know already, this is a personal goal for our family because the effects of Crohn’s have touched us. It has been over three years since Owen had his bowel resection surgery and since then he has been blessed by good health and great care! Please help us join the fight to raise funds and awareness for Crohn’s research! My family and friends will be participating in the Take Steps Walk in Pittsburgh this coming June, and our goal is to raise over $5000. Please help if you can. Join the fight to find a cure for Crohn’s!”
Regards,
Joe & Owen Belfiore
