Little HelperWe are one week into 2016!!! For me January is a time of planning, reassesing, dreaming, creating and days like today cooking!! Check out this picture of my little helper! She wasn’t too good in the clean up department and I think she may have added a few extra special ingredients to some of the recipes but lots of love too!

It is a good feeling to be able to start the year fresh with new ideas, new goals, new dreams and new paths.. One thing that my mentor, Todd Durkin, has been sharing with us for the past several years is a list on how to make each year the BEST year yet. As crazy as life gets, I make it a priority to spend some time during the year on certain tasks that Todd and others in my Mastermind group have claimed to be mandatory for making change and “creating” a life that you want and living for a purpose.

Each year, I pick about  5-10 things on the list that really resonate with me. I circle them and get to work!! I am super excited to be adding another yoga class to our schedule. I believe that a lot of us including myself need to take more time to move slower, breathe deeper and channel our inner strength and power. Now there is another opportunity here at FitHouse. Some of you have already met Eliabeth Sawich and loved her. She will be here every Tueday night to bring you a little Zen time. This is an awesome chance to bring a little balance to your new year!!!

We are thrilled to welcome our new FitHouse team member, Lindsay!

Lindsay KoberYou will be seeing a new face around FitHouse! We are excited to be growing the FitHouse Team and want to give a warm welcome to Lindsay Kober. When I met Lindsay I was impressed with her positive energy, her friendly professional demeanor and her go gettem attitude!!! I have a great feeling that she will fit right in here at FitHouse and we are excited for you to meet her!

Lindsay began her fitness career here in Pittsburgh in corporate wellness at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Headquarters. Having the opportunity to work with so many different individuals has challenged, motivated, and pushed Lindsay to be the best she can. Her goal is to relate, inspire, and share her passion and creativity with everyone. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Coastal Carolina University and is a certified instructor through AFAA. Her focus is to provide unique, new, and challenging workouts to engage and drive her clients to push through something different and out of their normal routines and comfort zones.

In her spare time you can find Lindsay traveling and competing in races. She has traveled as far as Louisville, KY to participate in a color run and is constantly looking to try new experiences and influence others to do the same. Lindsay hopes to inspire, motivate, and expand the FitHouse Community and is excited to work, learn, and grow with everyone!
