I hope you all had a great week! We had a lot of fun at Kalahari in Ohio for the girls’ Dance Nationals. All of their hard work through the year earned them “studio of the year” among many other high achievement awards. If you have ever been to Kalahari you know that managing the whereabouts and agenda of a 3 year old, 8 year old, 11 year old and 13 year old in a water park resort for 5 days deserves an award as well! We had a great time, but I am definitely glad to be on the regularly scheduled program again and can’t wait to get back to FitHouse and all of your awesome energy!
One of the things I am always reminded of when I go away is the importance of good habits and how grateful I am for some of mine. Man, isn’t it crazy how it seems like it can take a lifetime to create good habits and they can be broken in just days? Exercise is one thing that I always stick to even when I go away…I challenge you to as well! When I exercise I eat better, I have more energy and I feel better. Sometimes it looks a little different than my normal routine, but that is good too! What habits are the most important for you to keep during the busy summer days? What habits have you let go of that you need to get back in your life to feel your best? Choices we make daily can move us closer to or further from where we want to be.
