We’re kicking (or rather running) it up a notch!
If you’re ready to turn your current 1-3 mile run into a 6.2 mile run then this program is for you! The first two weeks we will work with the 1-2 mile runners to help them increase their mileage to 3.1 miles (5k). At the beginning of week 3 and going forward we will add the runners that can run 3+ miles and are interested in getting their mileage up to 6.2 (10k). You can jump in whenever you want as our plan will be progressive from week 3 to week 10. Our goal is to be able to safely and confidently run the Burgh’s Pizza & Wing Pub 10K Run on Sunday, April 17th.
How this works:
Throughout the 10 weeks a weekly training plan will be provided via email on Sunday for you to use that week. It will give you the type of workouts (strength vs cardio/running) for you to do throughout the week on your own. FitHouse training sessions and group classes will help you meet these weekly workout goals. Helpful tips like running form and healthy eating advice will also be provided throughout the 10 weeks to help you succed and feel your best. Every Sunday there will be a group run from 7:45-8:45/9am (locations may vary each week to keep it fun and interesting). We will warm up, run together and stretch at the end.

Cost: Members: $75 Non-members: $115 which includes 1 group class per week at FitHouse Note: this price does not include the cost of the race (optional but tons of fun!)
