Is there a specific diet that I will need to follow and will you tell me exactly what to eat?
The Slimmer by Summer meal plan is a clean eating meal plan eliminating processed foods and sugars and focusing on a diet with whole real food and minimal sugar. There are many diet/nutrition plans out there. Stress, lifestyle, hormones and body composition all contribute to how our bodies respond to weight loss. You will learn how different foods may impact your body and you will have options to customize your plan based on your goals and where you currently are in your health and fitness
You will be given 50 Page Book filled with a four week meal plan and delicious simple recipes as well as extras for substitutions. The last two weeks you will be guided in putting together your own meal plan so that you can build habits to create lasting success long after the challenge.
Will I be able to keep up with the Classes?
We welcome all fitness levels in our classes. Our goal is to help you feel your best so we want exercise to be a fun, effective and safe experience for you. We always provide modifications if necessary and coaching on proper form and technique. If we feel that the classes may not be a good fit for your body or any limitations that you may have we will let you know. Once again it’s about finding what’s right for YOU! Fitness is not a one size fits all! Some of our members prefer working out in a smaller group with a more hands on approach and have goals and needs that can be addressed better in our small group or personal training programs. We can help you find the right fit and customize a program that is right for you!
What if I can’t make it to Classes can I still benefit from the challenge?
Absolutely! You will still need to pop in for your beginning and ending InBody Measurements but other than that you can still stay completely connected in the challenge through our App, the Facebook page and all of the additional tools provided. We do include 2 weekly home workouts that use a minimal amount of equipment that you can purchase through FitHouse. Exercise is an important part of the challenge for both the body and mind but you need to discover how to make it fit in your life and that is what we want to help you do!
How are measurements done?
We are super excited to be introducing the InBody Bodyfat Analyzer for the first time in one of our challenges! It is a state of the Art body fat analyzer that looks way beyond the number on the scale. The InBody 570 provides accurate body composition analysis in less than 45 seconds, providing information about visceral fat, segmental fat, intracellular water, and extracellular water. It is an essential tool in health management and you will get to experience it with the Challenge.
What Exactly is Required of me to Rock the Challenge?
You are required to do an initial and final measurements in one of the times provided. You must have a burning desire to feel better, be healthier and have full support while doing so!
You must have a positive Mindset and be willing to make time (about an hour a week) for meal prepping and exercise (30- 45 minutes 3-4 X a week). This is a 6 week commitment to making yourself a priority so you can see just how good you can look and feel.
